Christian is a collator (Corbordor) on a bus we frequently ride. I can think of only one reason for the mutual attraction, and over the past few months I have gotten to know him well. He works 14 hours a day, six days a week, but always has a smile on his face. He and his family went to church with us today (Nov 11). Valeria, Christian's daughter, is an very active four year old and has a charming personality. His ward is about 12 miles from where we live in a Lima suburb called San Juan Luigancho. When we arrived we discovered it was Stake Conference. So we took about six members of the Mangomara Ward who had forgotten it was Stake Conference, put them on a bus and went to the Stake Building. Conference was overflowing with people and it is amazing to think of the 500,000 thousand members in Peru. Christian got met the Bishop, Stake President, Mission President, and the Sister Missionaries. Christian and family will attend church next Sunday Nov 17th.
