Peruvian Life

Lunch Time Traffic

These are a few of the people and places we see every day. I have an interesting observation, people in Peru do not smoke. I have seen one person smoke since I arrived. Maybe most of the people can not afford it but it sure makes for clean air. Also, prescription pain medicine is not available in pharmacies. It can only be given in a hospital. Other common drugs can be bought at the pharmacies without a prescription. You go to the pharmacy and tell them what you want and you can get it.

Bob and I photographed 8500 records this week. I am getting use to the archives. I have a lot of down time while Bob gets the records ready to photograph. The books are to heavy and dust and it takes 30 minutes to get a book ready to start filming. So I have got this little walking track and I walk in the basement. Remember the archive is about 100 feet x 50 feet. (like a football field). I walked a few hours each day this week. The weather is hot and humid but not unbearable.

What is new at the Jim and Cher House, well the dog ate the cake. The maid made the most beautify carrot cake, Jim's favorite. It was left on the kitchen table and the dog ate the rest of the cake left from dinner. Naught, naught Lucas.
