P-Day in Peru Sep 15th 2012

P-Day has turned out to be a day of excursions, long walks and visiting many of the more picturesque part of Lima.  The Pacific Ocean and the part of the city named Miraflores is our favorite destination. Kris kept me busy today with a 9:00 AM shopping trip, a noon trip to Miraflores and a Ward baby shower at 8:00 PM.  At noon we walked about five mile with several other missionaries and then had lunch overlooking the Pacific.  Looking out over the Pacific makes us forget about the long week days we spend in the Archives.
