We spent New Years Eve celebrating with the missionaries. We had dinner at the "Chifa Moneda China" (it is our favorite restaurant in Lima). There were 30 missionaries in attendance. We then went to the Lowe's for a night of fun and games but ended up just talking and sharing lives experiences. It was a great night. We had planned to attend the stake dance that was held from 10 PM to 5 PM with a nursery for the children but we could not stay up that late. We did manager to see the fireworks on the roof of our apartment. There is not such thing as illegal fireworks in Peru. Everything is legal. Such a spectacular site.
