These brothers work at the Area Office and I have gotten to know them very well. Most pay on the soccer team with me, it is a pleasure to be with, and they are among my best friends here. Some work with PEF and the two in the white shirts are part of security for the Church. The security is contracted, but a temple recommend is necessary. They work 12 hour shifts six days a week and make about $550.00 a month. Not much for a 72 hour work week without overtime. In addition to 12 hour days Carols, (first picture in the middle white shirt) spends four a hours a day on the bus to and from work. Carols and I developed a friendship because in was a 20 year member of the PNP. (PNP, Peruvian National Police.)
