We are in the same ward as the Lopez family. Sister Lopez is a hoot and lots of fun. Hector, her son, and I became good friends during the time his fiance was taking the missionary lessons. She joined the church and Hector is waiting the required year before they can marry in the temple. This family has been part of our lives for the past year and they went out of their to have us for Sunday dinner.
Chicha Morales is a Peruvian drink made from sweet purple corn. They also make a sort of purple pudding from the corn called Mazamorra Morada which was served last night.
