Brian Hulet and Chase Driggs - Missionaries in the MTC

On Friday we attended class in the MTC to work on our Spanish. We will be going to downtown Lima to copy records 5 days a week but I am going three days a week and will spent two days in the MTC learning Spanish. I can go and attend classes or work in the computer lab.

I wanted to see Landon Hulet, a missionary from my home ward and Chase Driggs, a missionary from Utah, his Grandma, Leslie Borgquist is one of my good friends from California. How these two missionaries ended up being companions, I do not know. They were companions in Provo and Peru. I had asked the head trainer about see them and he did not tell me yes or know. They had been told we were at the training center and we had lunch with them. (See attached pictures) It was great to see them and know how well they are doing. There new mission president, President Cardin told us not to make them home sick.

We have our first p-day today. Hope to be in an apartment by the end of the month.

Tomorrow is stake conference, all in Spanish. It seems to take most senior missionaries about 6 months to learn some of the language. Bob is on a crash course. He talks to everyone and I mean everyone. He is up stairs practicing right now.
