Last night was the devotional. We were honored to hear from Elder Russell M Nelson. There are fifteen new mission presidents that will be serving in the MTC here this week with a number of other Presidents replacing Presidents. Elder Nelson's talk was centered round the Bible and the Book of Mormon. This is the story of a great family. Our families enjoy these great blessing taught in these scriptures today. We looked at a number of scriptures and were reminded of the fact we are taking the gospel to the four corners of the earth.
We fight out on Friday morning at 7 AM. President Cardin and his wife will be traveling with us. He is the new MIssion President of the Language Training Center in Lima Peru. There is another couple here going to Peru, his wife got her visa 30 days ago and he is still waiting for his. We have met some amazing Sr Missionaries, many of whom we will keep in contact with while on our mission and after.
Bob and I have been learning to photograph records this week. It is part of our assignment. I am sure glad Bob knows a lot about photography or I would be lost. The records that are being recorded will help people all over the world connect with their families.
Today we are packing and trying to get our bags to weight 50 pounds. Will will be taking a few things home when we return our car tomorrow.
