ANOTHER GREAT DAY

The people here in Lima are great. If we pass a member on the street, they will engage us in an endless conversation, and want to know what we are doing in downtown Lima walking in some not so nice areas.  Weeks ago, I notice many people looking/ watching us.  I thought they were sizing us up as an easy mark, but now I think they are trying to read our missionary badge.  Still not 100% sure about it, but I feel confortable most everywhere.  Yesterday, I was seated next to a mother and her six-year-old son.  Kris gave the little boy some candy and a conversation started.  The little boy looked at his mother and said why is this man not speaking very good Spanish. The little guy would rattle off some words and they look at me with a puzzled look when I did not respond.  He did thank me for the candy.
