Where Do the Socks Go?

I live in a very tiny apartment. It would fit in my living room at home. Today I washed Bob's socks in the washing machine. There were four pairs but only three and a half came out of the washing machine. So I now know that the washing machine does eat socks. I have known that all my life but now I can prove it. I put four pairs in and all four did not come out.

A couple of my daughters place all the stray socks from the washing machine in a box and when I come to visit they have me pair them up. This can be quite a job but I am sure it will be a big job when I return from my mission. It will be a year and a half of stray socks.

Since I am not at the archive today I have been cleaning, washing, cooking figuring out how much money we have spent since we left home. Peruvian money is called Soles. Every dollar is worth 2.67 Soles. Most of the big stores and grocery stores taken US dollars. Fruits and vegetables are really cheap. I figure it costs about $1500 a month to live here. Not to bad for maintaining two homes.
