Chip Ahoy Cookies

Four Cookies in a Package

My husband is a connoisseur of Chip Ahoy Cookies. Believe me when I say Nabisco Chip Ahoy Cookies are not the same in Peru. Nabisco bakes the cookie here in Peru and they taste burned. My husband enjoys Chip Ahoy's and milk. I had to give my Chip Ahoy's away to the workers in the archives. They think they taste great.

This is a silly little thing to write about but we had a major discussion about these cookies at the archives. The favorite little cookie in Peru is the Chocolate Cua Cua. They are Chocolate around vanilla wafers and I can't bring enough of them to the archives every day. So long to Chip Ahoy until we return to America.

  1. It might be the sugar difference too. It mostly likely is baked with real sugar instead of hydrogenated sugar. Who knows. I find that soda tastes different too. Pretty soon you just get used to the food here and it seems normal!
