I have taken many photographs this week. We have been gone
76 days. Our 18-month mission is for 18months, leaving 461 days left to serve.
You might think this is funny or strange to be figuring the departure date, but
I like numbers and love to do the math.
I love to cook. My husband’s favorite think to eat is rice
and chili’s. Here is the recipe:
4 cups cook rice
1 small can of diced chili’s
2 cups cream
1 lb of jack cheese, shrewd
Mix together and pour in 9x 13-glass pan and bake 30
minutes.
This is delicious!!!!
I love to cook and miss being in my kitchen. But I started
asking around about how to buy bulk chocolate for my English toffee. Peru is
one of the largest importers of chocolate bean. Our friend Alan sent me to this
store where I was able to buy bulk white, milk and dark chocolate plus this
place had barrels of nuts and dried fruit. I found the almonds I need for my
candy at very excellent prices.
Cher and I went to the shopping area to buy the chocolate
and decided it was not to safe. Cher made the comment that they will just cut
your purse right off your body, so we bought the chocolate and decided next
time we would bring Bob and Jim. The problem with bring the men is they say
hurry up and we say we want to keep looking.
Today Bob and I cleaned our apartment from top to bottom.
The dirt in Peru is plentiful.
That is because it never rains. The mountains have no vegetation. The
windows have no screens and the dirt can get ¼ inch thick. Had to get two
vacuums for the apartment. I guess I could get a cleaning lady, they are very
cheap but I am too cheap.

I'm sorry I scared you with your comment. I had just heard of that happening before but I don't think it is a common thing. Usually they just grab and run! ha ha.
